Introducing Continuum Insurtech Platform Documentation
Step-by-step user guides, screenshots and workflow videos for the Continuum Insurtech platform
Continuum Insurtech documentation now has a dedicated website. Separate from our main website, it provides practical guidance for people using the platform day to day, with step-by-step instructions, screenshots and videos of broker workflows.
What the Continuum Insurtech documentation covers
The main end-to-end guide covers the Policy Lifecycle within the Operations workflow. It follows an insurance enquiry through to a bound Policy and delivery of its documents. Rather than treating screens in isolation, it shows how each action connects to the next:
- Create or find the client, check associated contacts, then create and complete the Deal.
- Prepare and send insurer Submissions, and record the Responses received from insurers.
- Create Quotations from insurer terms, review their details and prepare them for the client.
- Send a Quotation to the client and record acceptance and supporting evidence.
- Send the Firm Order Slip to the insurer, record insurer agreement and confirm binding.
- Complete the Policy record and deliver the relevant supporting documents to the client.
The sequence matters: preparation is not sending, client acceptance is not insurer agreement, and sending a Firm Order Slip does not itself confirm binding. The guide explains these distinctions alongside the software actions.
Written guidance, screenshots and workflow videos
The Policy Lifecycle guide combines written instructions with screenshots taken from the actual platform, using a fictional insurance placement as its worked example. Screens show relevant forms, actions and outcomes so users can recognise what they should see as a task progresses.
For those who prefer to watch, the guide includes seven captioned instructional video chapters covering the individual stages, plus a complete workflow video. Users can follow the written guide, revisit a step or watch it demonstrated. The videos are optional.
A reference for everyday insurance operations
Insurance software training should not depend on one person remembering every step. An accessible insurance broker workflow guide gives colleagues a consistent reference when learning an unfamiliar task, covering for someone who is away or checking how a particular stage should be recorded.
For onboarding, new team members can follow the full process while experienced staff can return to specific sections. Documentation does not replace colleagues' judgement or Continuum's technical support; it makes routine processes easier to understand and revisit.
Part of a managed, supported platform
Continuum Insurtech is a managed broker operations platform operated by Continuum Risk Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. Designed for commercial and specialty brokers and agencies, particularly in Asia, it is configured for each firm's workflows and delivered as an isolated instance, with hosting, maintenance and standard support handled by Continuum.
Clear insurance platform user guides are part of that approach. The aim is to provide software teams can use consistently, with shared operational knowledge available beyond an initial implementation or training session, rather than a bespoke project that relies on individual handovers.
Explore the documentation
The Policy Lifecycle is the main complete-workflow guide. The documentation library also includes shorter guides for alternative starting points: Deal to Quotation, Create a Quotation with AI, and Deal to Policy. It does not yet document every part of the platform; Billing, Payments and Reporting are outside these initial Operations guides. Further guidance can be added as the library develops.
Visit the Continuum Insurtech documentation website to browse the available guides, or open the Policy Lifecycle guide to follow the complete process.
